Online Banking FAQs

Q: How do I sign up for Online Banking?
A: First time users of Online Banking must enroll with Mutli-Factor Authentication.
Start Enrollment Process. Follow these simple steps:
1. A typewriter key-pad will be displayed - Enter your member number (which you will find at the top of your statement) and password/PIN (this is your social security number – you must use the key-pad to enter your password). The password is only temporary; you will be forced to reset your password. Then enter the Security Code as shown and click Submit.
2. Three questions will be displayed on the next page. You must answer all three questions. All answers must be four characters or longer and you can not repeat any of the answers. At the bottom of this page is a security image. You must enter a word/phrase that is four to ten alpha-numeric characters. You do not need to remember this word/phrase just recognize it. After you enter the word/phrase click submit. After clicking submit you will be prompted to change your password. The password is case-sensitive.

Q: What is the difference between Online Banking and E-Statements?
A: Depending on what you are looking to do, depends on which services you need.
Online Banking is for daily account access. This is where you look at all your daily transactions and can transfer money inside your account. It shows all deposits and withdrawals on a daily basis.
E-Statements replace your paper statement that comes to you via mail. It is a service allowing you to view your statement online. The Vault is a secure site that will hold your account statements until you wish to look at them. You may also print or download the statement.

Q: What do I do if I forget my password for Online Banking?
A: Contact Rimrock Credit Union during business hours for password reset.

Q: How do I reset my password for Online Banking?
A: Once you are logged into Online Banking click on the More Features button. Several more buttons will appear. Click on the Change Password link.

Q: What is my Member Number?
A: Your member number is a unique number the Credit Union gave to you when you opened your account. You can find the number at the top of your statement.

Q: How secure is Online Banking?
A: Online Banking uses 128-bit encryption.

Q: How long is my account history maintained in Online Banking?
A: Three months.

Q: How do I view my account balances?
A: Simple, just log onto your Online Banking account and click the Accounts button.

Q: How do I view my account transaction?
A: Once you have logged into your account, a set of buttons will appear on the top of the screen. Choose the Accounts button and a list will appear of all your accounts. If you click on the individual account, the history will be displayed.

Q: Can I download my banking information?
A: Log onto your Online Banking account and select the Statement button. Choose your date range, you will be prompted to re-enter your password. Your statement will be displayed in a PDF format that will allow you to print or save a copy.

Q: Can I make a loan payment online?
A: Yes, your loan will be an option in the drop-down box in transfers. You will be prompted to re-enter your password to finish the transfer.

Q: Can I transfer funds between accounts?
A: Yes, click on the Transfer button in Online Banking. Choose the accounts from the drop-down box you wish to transfer to and from. You will be prompted to re-enter your password to finish the transfer.

Q: Can I cancel a scheduled transfer?
A: Transfers done in Online Banking are done immediately. To schedule payments please check out Online BillPay.
